Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk
The La Grange Public Library is seeking an efficient, customer-focused individual to join the Administrative staff. The Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk is responsible for a variety of administrative, bookkeeping and secretarial tasks. Duties include processing biweekly payroll, taking minutes at monthly board meetings, processing monthly bills for payment, and tracking and acknowledging donations.
We are looking for someone with the ability to organize work and maintain good working relationships with others, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is a must. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Paylocity are desired but not required.
Hours: 20-25 hours/week
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of experience in a related field with emphasis in word processing and accounting. Must be available one evening per month.
Salary: $13.65/hour, plus some benefits
