The La Grange Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, customer-focused Reference Librarian to join the busy Reference and Reader Services department staff. Duties include collection development, reference and reader’s advisory, creating print and online bibliographies and newsletters, and assisting patrons with computers, eReaders, tablets, and other technology. The La Grange Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual who has a passion for getting materials out to our patrons as soon as possible. If you are always on the move and like to ensure that materials are in the correct location, this is a great opportunity to let your skills shine.
Pages are responsible for shelving library materials, keeping shelves in order, emptying book drops, setting up meeting rooms, and performing a variety of assigned duties in support of the department. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for working with the public. Flexibility and attention to detail are also important.
