The Library is now offering additional eBooks through a service called Freading.

Freading offers tens of thousands of eBooks which are available anytime, anywhere. There is no download manager, and users have simultaneous access to all titles. It’s never been so easy. There's even an app: search the Apple App Store or Android Play Store.

Download Magazines


Now you can download and browse your favorite magazines in an interactive electronic format. The service is called Zinio, and it's free to La Grange Public Library cardholders. The following titles are available.

Zinio is also available as an app for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire, and Blackberry Playbook devices. We recommend that you set up your account and choose magazines through the website above first, then download the app to read the magazines.

Freegal Music Icon

You can download music for your MP3 player using your La Grange Public Library card. Download up to three songs per week. Check out Freegal to search available music. 

To make your downloads even easier, we now offer apps for Apple and Android devices.  Just search the Apple App Store or Android Play Store for "Freegal."

Download Audiobooks and eBooks

 
Try our Media On Demand program to download audiobooks to listen to on your MP3 player, iPod or computer. You can also download eBooks for your eReader, iPad, tablet, or smartphone.


To use Media On Demand with your mobile device, there's now an app for iPad/iPhone, Android, Kindle, and Nook.  Search the appropriate app store for "Overdrive Media Console."
