The Grace Year
by Kim Liggit
16-year old girls are sent away from home and forced to endure the “Grace Year,” 12 months of hard living in the wilderness with little access to fresh food, water or bedding. Upon their homecoming, they are supposedly purified and ready to marry, but Tierney James isn’t having it. Tierney discovers there are powerful forces at play and people who are deeply invested in keeping the Grace Year tradition, no matter the cost, which may very well be her life.
