Take a Hint, Dani Brown

Take a Hint, Dani Brown

by Talia Hibbert

Danika Brown a workaholic PhD Literature student seeks a sex buddy without emotional attachment. Zafir Ansari, a former pro Rugby player, is a romantic seeking a happy ending relationship, but he too is emotionally guarded due to past wounds. They keep their fantasies of one another secret, until they get wrapped up in a social media publicity stunt, a staged romance that boosts the success of Zafir’s nonprofit, Tackle It, helping destigmatize mental illness and building coping skills among young athletes. Readers can anticipate that real romance will ensue, but friendship and self-discovery is the convoluted course to getting there. This Rom Com is a smart, funny, sexy and inclusive escapism read. Check out read-alike author Helen Hoang. Both authors write witty romance stories with culturally and ability diverse protagonists with heroic qualities.
