Goodnight, Irene

Goodnight, Irene

by Jan Burke

Former journalist, Irene Kelly, has settled uncomfortably into a new career in public relations when her life is shaken by the murder of her former colleague, O’Connor. Irene believes the murder resulted from an unsolved case that O’Connor resurrected annually, that of the body of a pregnant young woman found on the beach in 1955, missing hands and feet, for which O’Connor may have uncovered new evidence. Irene’s determination to solve O’Connor’s murder brings danger and the reappearance of an old flame, now a local detective. First in a series.
